Music Program Details

The Music Program will offer lessons in guitar, bass, piano, voice, mandolin, and violin for all levels by professional music players and instructors with over 25 years of experience in teaching and playing: Brian Chodorcoff and Beth Meadows.

Lesson Scheduling
Lessons are available up to 5 days a week in 45 minute time slots and are scheduled weekly at established times during the day or evening Monday through Sunday. We can help you find a time and day that works for your schedule. To find out about time slots available, please email or call us at 407-896-0309.

For ballet students at Russian Academy, there will be no additional registration fee for music lessons. For those who do not have instruments, we will have free rental options to use the instruments for the first month of learning.

Monthly Fees
The music program will be based on a month to month commitment. Payment is due on a monthly basis at the first lesson of the month. If a student begins lessons in the middle of the month we will prorate for the number of lessons before the beginning of the first full month. Tuition for music lessons is $30 for an individual class of 45 minutes, $108 per month for 1 lesson a week and $218 per month for 2 lessons a week.

Cancellation Policy
We require one month in advance written notice to discontinue lessons. Please complete our “Notice to Withdraw” form available at the front desk of the school. If for example, you plan to discontinue/suspend lessons in May, then we will need to receive your written notice by the first lesson in April. If no notice is given by the first lesson of the month before lessons are being discontinued/suspend, then the student/parent will be responsible for the next full month’s tuition, no exceptions.

Late Fees:
We have a late payment fee policy of $15. If payment is not received by the second lesson of the month it is considered late and the fee will automatically be applied, no exceptions. It is the students/parents’ responsibility to ensure timely payment for music lessons; we will also be sending monthly reminders about due tuition for your convenience.

Returned Checks: There is a $20 Fee for any returned checks, in addition to any additional bank charges that we incur.

Missed Lessons and Make-Up Policy
If you cannot take the time(s) offered or if there are no times available, you will need to check in with the teacher during the next week’s lesson to discuss the make up directly with the teacher. In order to be considered for a Courtesy Make Up Lesson, the student or parent must call/e-mail the school at least 24 hours in advance if a known absence is coming, or ASAP, if a last minute unforeseen illness/accident/emergency comes up. If you do not call in advance, you will forfeit the lesson, no exceptions. Once a Courtesy Make Up Lesson has been scheduled, no additional lesson will be offered if you cancel the scheduled Make Up Lesson for any reason. Lessons for any teacher absence, will be covered either by a Substitute on the regular lesson day, or your teacher will make arrangements to do a pre, or post make up with each student.

For questions and enrollment, please email or call us at 407-896-0309. Please include information about your/your child’s age, experience, and contact information.

NEW Music Program

Russian Academy of Ballet is proud to present the new music program we’ll be launching January 9th, 2012 that will include lessons in guitar, bass, voice, and violin.

Our goal is to introduce and bring together the arts in Central Florida and offer children opportunities to play live music during local events, fundraisers, annual recitals, and special concerts. The music program is available to all levels, from beginners to advanced, regardless of your participation at the Russian Academy of Ballet dance program. Through this program, students will grow as musicians and receive quality training from some of the best musicians in town, that will open doors into various performing stages of Orlando, including musical events, concerts, and orchestras.

In Russian ballet schools music is a must for every dancer.  It helps to develop musicality, timing, and rhythm that inspires students to become more emotional and dramatic performers.

Unlike majority of music schools, Russian Academy of Ballet will ensure multiple performing opportunities for young musicians to master the instrument on stage and in between professional productions through out Orlando.

For registration or questions call 407-896-309 or email. Please provide detailed information with name, age, experience, and contact information.
